Zeal International School, Mattanur was established in 2012 (under the name Malabar English School till 14th Jan 2023).
Heritage charitable and Educational Trust took over the school in 2013 and shifted to the new spacious and Eco-friendly campus in 2014. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education New Delhi and duly recognized by Department of Education, Govt. of Kerala.

Zeal International School, Mattanur, strongly believes that a school should not only serve as a teaching and learning campus but also contribute to the welfare of the community. In line with this philosophy, the school recently opened its doors to the public for a special event. The school is grateful to the IG, Commissioner, SP, DySP of different Sub-divisions, and other higher officials, as well as all the police officers, for their appreciative words about the school and its state-of-the-art facilities. The police officials expressed their gratitude for the hospitality, support, and cooperation extended by the management and administrative officials, even on a holiday.
